Our Nikon D700 review found that this camera matches the quality and performance of flagship models like the D300. It contains many of the benchmark features that made those cameras great, such as the fastest shutter speed in its class. The 12.1 MP sensor coupled with the large pixel size creates clear images without post-processing tweaks.

The Nikon D700 review we performed also checked out the camera’s custom ISO feature, designed for perfect shots in poor lighting conditions. We were really skeptical about whether this would work, but are happy to report that it stood up to testing.
